What does Melt It Cleansing Balm remove? +

Melt It is designed to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, excess oil and daily build-up. It is particularly useful at the end of the day when you want to thoroughly remove your complexion and eye makeup before cleansing.

Does Melt It leave skin greasy? +

No. Melt It is designed to transform from a rich balm into a cleansing oil as it is massaged over the skin and emulsified with water. After rinsing, skin should feel clean, soft and conditioned rather than coated in a heavy residue.

Do I need to use another cleanser after Melt It? +

Melt It can be used on its own, but it works particularly well as the first step of a double cleanse. Follow with Super-Skin Cleanser when you want a more thorough two-step cleanse, particularly after makeup or sunscreen.

Can I use Melt It every day? +

Yes. Melt It can be used as part of your regular evening routine, particularly when removing makeup and sunscreen. If you are not wearing makeup or sunscreen, you can choose whether you need a balm cleanse or simply use your regular cleanser.

Is Melt It suitable for sensitive skin? +

The formulation is centred around emollient oils, shea butter and conditioning ingredients rather than exfoliating acids or other strong treatment actives. However, KEM does not currently make a formal sensitive-skin claim for the product. If your skin is particularly reactive, patch testing before full use is sensible.
